Do I need to buy a domain name and hosting?
We provide the hosting and domain name for you, it is included in your initial website cost then it is included in your annual hosting cost.
Is the payment a one-off?
That depends on what you are looking for. Firstly if you take a domain name and hosting from us you need to pay for the yearly hosting service.
Do I need to design the site myself?
We tend to use our templates and make changes to them. If none of them suit you we can do a bespoke website at a higher cost.
What should I include on my website?
What you are advertising, lots of images and contact information. We'd also recommed it is linked to Twitter and / or Facebook
In what format should I send informtion to you?
Every piece of information that you can think of you may wish to have on your site, we can always break it down later.
I already have a website but it needs updating. Can you do this for me?
As long as you have a copy of the programme behind your website or access to it on the server it is hosted on.
How do I update my website?
This is included on your annual cost. But if you require to update some of the site yourself we can build a Content Management System at a higher cost
Will everyone view my website the same?
The website will be built responsive, meaning it is designed to look best depending on what you are using, ie phone, ipad or laptop.
Can I get an email account with my website?
Yes every site I build is entitled to 1 email address. Refer to the Price page
for this information.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes to cover the initial work we do we require a 20% deposit or a £50 down payment.
How far up the engine will my site be?
That depends on several factors. The main ones is how much competition is out there and by putting good keywords in your pages.
Do I have to keep my website with DG Web Designs after it is finished?
Not at all when we are finished with your site we will send you a copy of it on disk where you can then host it yourself or find another company to maintain it for you. However you must keep on the site 'Site designed by DG Web Designs' with that being a link to our website.
